Properties in the sun
It’s September and the sun is still shining in Cyprus. The seas are warm and visibility is great for scuba diving. Every night the sunset is amazing and it’s no wonder that September is very popular with people who prefer to avoid the heat of the August sun.
After the International opera, Lakmé, the South Africa show, Umoja, the Limassol wine festival and many other events, we are looking forward to a number of Greek concerts and the Portugese singer Dulce Pointes at the end of the month.
September is when all the evening classes start. So, if you want to brush up on your salsa, tango, Tai Chi, pilates, yoga, Greek, French, pottery, art, or mosaic making, now is the time to sign up for it. There are also numerous gyms that you can join at hotels, which have swimming pools, saunas, steam rooms, spas and all those other luxuries as well as a fully equipped gym with personal trainers.
It is also the time when many people turn their thoughts to property in Cyprus. That holiday home, or the thought of moving permanently to the sunshine, is very tempting. You can almost taste the brandy sour you are drinking on the veranda of your Paphos villa. And, it’s actually very easy to accomplish. From one person who has made the move, don’t put it off until later, because there is so much to enjoy here and not much to miss. This is home.
